• Name and email address (used for account creation and sign-in)

• Fitness, hydration, nutrition, and menstrual tracking data (as entered by you)

• Device and usage information such as app version, crash logs, and general behavior (via Firebase)

We do not collect or access biometric data such as Face ID, nor do we collect sensitive health records or data outside of what you explicitly provide.

2. How Your Data Is Used

We use your data to:

• Power the app’s personalized insights and progress tracking

• Enable secure sign-in and account access

• Improve app performance and fix bugs (via Firebase Crashlytics)

• Understand usage patterns to enhance features (via Firebase Analytics)

We do not sell or share your personal data with third-party marketers or ad networks.

3. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party service providers, including Firebase by Google, to handle authentication, cloud storage, analytics, and crash reporting. These partners process your data strictly for functionality within LUMEA and are contractually bound not to use your data for any other purpose.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time within the app. This will:

• Permanently remove your wellness, nutrition, hydration, and cycle tracking data

• Delete your Firebase Authentication credentials

• Retain a non-identifiable user ID solely to prevent the restoration of your data in system backups

We maintain sanitized system backups for reliability, but deleted user data is excluded using these identifiers. If you re-register later, no previous data will be recoverable.

 

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption and secure protocols through Firebase to store and transmit your data. However, no system is completely immune to risk, and we encourage you to use strong passwords and secure your devices.

 

6. No Guarantee of Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate data tracking and calculations, we cannot guarantee all information will be captured or displayed without error. Insights and metrics rely on your input and device performance. LUMEA is not liable for incorrect entries, app interruptions, or data loss.

 

7. Health Disclaimer

LUMEA is not a medical device. All fitness, nutritional, hydration, and cycle-related features are for informational purposes only and should not be used for diagnosis, treatment, or medical decision-making. Always consult with a licensed healthcare provider before making health or lifestyle changes.

 

8. Age Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old to use this app. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 without verified parental consent where permitted by law.

 

9. Your Consent

By using LUMEA, you consent to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any portion of this policy, please discontinue use of the app.
